Event "Success with Responsibility - Learning from the Best" This was the slogan on the 21st of June 2011 in St. Pölten: successful precursor Lower Austrian companies in responsible economic activity presented their measures and motivated to copy. On the basis of five activity fields the subject CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility - was practical presented with the advantage for companies. Five Lower Austrian precursor companies, all of them winner of TRIGOS - allocated for companies with responsibility - told the interested audience, how they followed-up CSR in their particular domain. Winner TRIGOS Lower Austria 2011 - the award for companies with Corporate Social Responsibility In front of 200 guests the winner of the TRIGOS Lower Austria was awarded on Thursday, 12th of May 2011. On initiative of the Province of Lower Austria, this award was allocated for the first time to companies, who have integrated Corporate Social Responsibility successfully in their established activities. In the category Community, the Erste Raabser Walzmühle M. DYK has won with their project "The Woodquarter Roots World". With this unique project, the visitors can experience the meaning of the forest, wood and renewable energy. The company Erste Raabser Walzmühle M. Dyk is also nominated for TRIGOS Austria. Closing event of the "Success with FAIR-responsibility" project On the 5th of October 2010, the closing event of the "Success with FAIR-responsibility - CSR strategies and reports on sustainability" project was held in the Provincial Parliament of Lower Austria. Ms. Petra Bohuslav (Member of the Provincial Government for Economy, Tourism and Sports), Ms. Sonja Zwazl (President of the Economic Chamber Lower Austria) and Mr. Leopold Zahrer (Head of the Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management Ministry) handed over, in a festive ceremony, a certificate to all the 25 companies participating (mostly small and medium-sized businesses). Harvest 2010 This year the harvesting of grain is very problematic, due to bad weather conditions. It is nearly impossible for the farmers to drive into their fields with heavy machinery, not to mention the harm done to soil organisms etc. We do hope for a period of fair and sunny weather, so that the crops in the Waldviertel can be brought in successfully.

Waldviertler Energy Regulars' Table at guest On Thursday, the 10th of June (from 6 pm onwards) the Waldviertler Energy Regulars' Table was invited to Raabs by our company. A sightseeing tour was organized through the Waldviertler Roots World and afterwards an exciting meeting took place in "the old workshop". Theme was "our forest, a strong chunk - biomass, water reservoir and much more". Until midnight a snug round still sat together, after all questions have been discussed and cleared to everybodies satisfaction. Compiling a sustainability report Momentary we are busy on compiling a sustainability report for our company. Reason is, that it is common for us to live sustainability in our company and we want to make our philosophy also transparent for our customers, suppliers, etc. This report will be issued and made public within the next months.

50 Children to visit the Dyk Mill! Within the frame of a school project "alles powidl?" freely translated as "who cares?" which was held from the 29^thof June to the 1^stof July 2009, fifty childeren of the Highschool BRG/ORG Anton Krieger Gasse in Vienna, visited the Dyk Mill. The participating scholars between the age of 12 to 13 years have been dealing with all aspects concerning "food"! The initiators wanted to provoke the appetite for consumption and see the projects as an initiative for consumption and healthy nutrition for childern and teenagers n the frame of school projects. Honorary Consul Ms Lydia Dyk We congratulate our associate Ms. Lydia Dyk on becoming the South African Honorary Consul for Lower Austria. The inauguration took place on the 11th of Dec. 2008 at the company KWI in St. Pölten, where Mrs. Dyk will have her office in future.

Trio Of the Year 2008 Since 1993 the "Trio of the Year", a prize for three exceptionally innovate and successful companies out of the sections trade, crafts and services, has been awarded by The Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Bank Austria and the business magazine TREND. With this award, The Federal Sections Trade & Crafts and Information & Consultancy want to highly value the companies, seeing that they are the engine of the local economy. In the section Crafts, the company Erste Raabser Walzmühle M.DYK achieved the second place!

Energy Efficiency Award "Helios 2008" On the 3rd of July 2008 the Chamber of Commerce of Lower Austria for the first time awarded The Energy Efficiency Award "Helios". This prize awards achievements of companies in the category Economy of Energy, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Mobility and Sensitisation. In each category one winner was nominated. The company Erste Raabser Walzmühle M. DYK received in the category "Economy of Energy-Energy Efficiency" a recognition price. Project: heat insulation warehouse. In terms of operating ecological, conversation of energy is the "best" energy form!
