Surprisingly we got a visit from the Chleba se soli team on July 6th, 2020 on their through journey in our area.

The night before the employees, including master baker Mr. Pavlovsky, took part on an exchange

of experiences in an Austrian organic master bakery. Our production manager took the bakery

team on a detailed tour through our mill.

 

We supply the Czech bakery with our organic flour since 2018 and

are enthusiastic about their great commitment.

Bakery Öfferl visited our mill

Sales start: Biodynamic flour in 1kg packages

There is a lot of passion and experience behind very delicious bread. Above all a very good grain and miller craft. To visual our longstanding cooperation with the bakery Öfferl we got a visit from Sandra, Julia, Katharina, Lukas and Georg on June 30th, 2020. The resulting pictures will be shown on the homepage www.oefferl.bio soon. The reason for this visit was the sales start of biodynamic flour in 1kg packages in the Öfferl bakeries:

eFriends – electricity from the Dyk-Mill

Since February 2020 the Dyk-Mill has been selling excess energy from the production of their own hydro power plant to an organization called eFriends. eFriends is a start-up company near Hollabrunn and makes it possible to share clean and regionally generated electricity with a revolutionary technology for everyone. In real-time and anywhere in Austria.

Presentation of the economic strategy of Lower Austria 2025

Governor of Lower Austria Johanna Mikl-Leitner and Minister of Economy of Lower

Austria Petra Bohuslav presented the “Economic strategy of Lower Austria 2025”

on the 14th of November 2019 in Krems. The key points of this strategy are

internationalization, innovation, digitization and sustainability. Also, the opinion of the

entrepreneurs, e.g. Lisa Dyk, regarding the strategy finding process was discussed.

Ecoplus celebration held on 31.10.2019

“30 years Fall of the Iron Curtain”

Ecoplus organized a jubilee event to celebrate “30 years Fall of the Iron Curtain” in the Palais of Lower Austria. Since September Carina Rambauske/Journalist and blogger has visited some companies in the border region on behalf of Ecoplus to prepare a personal picture of this time. Reinhard Wolf/General Director of RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG, Karin Weißenböck/General Manager of Moorheilbad Harbach und Lisa Dyk/General Manager of Dyk Mill, discussed the effects from their economic point of view. Also on podium, were Johanna Mikl-Leitner/Governor of Lower Austria, Petra Bohuslav/Minister of Economy of Lower Austria and Johannes Hahn/EU-Commissioner.

Everyone agreed, that the Fall of the Iron Curtain was an initial spark for the local economy, which continues until today.The export industry of Lower Austria reacted quickly to new opportunities and acquired new target groups in the neighboring countries. Ecoplus regional support takes part in the significant positive development. Since 1999 Ecoplus has implemented a fitness program for Lower Austria, which has been extended to 2020 due to the positive development.

Book presentation „Best of Middleclass“

 

On the 12th of June 2019 the small and medium-sized businesses event with book presentation “Best of Middleclass” of the organisation “Lobby der Mitte” took place in the Sky Bar in A-1010 Vienna.

This gave the opportunity to share ones thoughts and ideas with over 100 colleagues from small and medium-sized businesses. Also to network and talk about the additional chances of the middle class due to the new election campaign of the national assembly. The aim of this event as well as of the book is to make the middle class “Lobby of the Good” with their performance, values and requirements visible and to strengthen the ability to assert oneself.

Kruste & Krume Brotvestival 2019

 

On March the 23rd 2019 the 4th Kruste&Krume Brotfestival will take place.

And we as a company will be part of it!

Bakers from all over Europe, will present their specialities at the Marx Halle (Karl-Farkas-Gasse 19, 1030 Vienna). At this "baker´s market" you will find nearly everything from finest bakery up to traditional bread and breadrolls. Liveshows of bakery craftsmanship will be presented by bakers with decades of knowledge and at the Kruste&Krume bakery it will be possible to take a look behind the scenes of traditional hand-crafted baking. At "baking-world" plenty of Austrias best flour brands, (including ours ;-)), spices and seeds will be on sale. The "sourdough-exchange" makes it possible to trade in different types of sourdough. Lots of prices to be won during the Kruste&Krume bakery-championship and for the kids there will be cool stuff to do at the kids-bakery.

Kruste & Krume Brotvestival 2018

 

On March 1oth 2018 it was the 3rd the Kruste&Krume Brotfestival took place. And we as a company joined it!

34 bakers from all over europe, presented their specialities at he famous Kursalon Hübner located at the Wiener Stadtpark in the heart of Vienna. At the "bakermarket" you could find nearly everything from finest bakery up to traditional bread and breadrolls , liveshows of bakery craftsmanship done by bakers with decades of knowledge, at the Kruste&Krume bakery it was possible to take a look behind the scenes of traditional hand-crafted baking . At "baking-world" plenty of Austrias best flour brands, spices and seeds were offerd to the visitors. The "sourdough-exchange" made it possible to trade in different types of sourdough. Lots of prices were given to the contestants of the Kruste&Krume bakery-championship and kids had fun at the kids-bakery. The PANEUM, Austrias new museum of bread, offered its visitors a historical overview of the baking craft

Trigos winners of Lower Austria present their sustainability focuses

Economic talks within the European Forum Alpbach on the 2nd of Sept. 2015

The European Forum Alpbach focussed this year on the topic “Inequality”. For the 70th anniversary of the European Forum Alpbach different facets of equality and inequality were looked at and causes, prognoses and outcomes were viewed.

Ecoplus organised, in the frame of the economic talks 2015 on the 2nd of Sept. 2015, a breakout session “peripheral company sites – disadvantage or (underestimated) potential”. With various managers, the role of regional factors regarding site-decisions was discussed. The keynote speakers were Mr. Artwohl / Manager Kahles GmbH, Mr. Daum / CEO Rehau GmbH, Mr. Groiss / CEO List GmbH, Mr. Sollgruber / Head of the European Commission in Austria, Mr. Fassl / Ecoplus and Ms. Lisa Dyk / Manager Dyk Mühle.

Slow Food gourmet-market and dance in the Dyk-Mill on the 29th of August 2015

On Saturday, the 29th of August 2015, Slow Food Thayatal organises a regional gourmet-market in the Dyk-Mill. From 10am until 2pm producers from the region will present delicious organic food. The market will be opened by the town-major, Mr. Rudolf Mayer, at 10.30am.

A Slow Club will start at 9pm. Mr. Florian Schaumberger, alias DJ ClowSlub, will play music from the finest in the so called “old workshop” at the Dyk-Mill.

Green electricity filling station for electric vehicles

For several years, we have been offering electric vehicle owners the opportunity to refuel their vehicles on our premises free of charge. Finally we now also have a sign for our filling station, where it is situated.

All electric vehicle owners are welcome within office hours, please call beforehand.
