Organic & Biodynamic Grain Harvest Completion 2025

SCHNIDAHAU! It’s done.

Another harvest is over.

After a long wait and a rainy July, we have now filled our grain silos with organic and biodynamic grain from our regional organic farmers.

According to the organic farmers, the yields per hectare are very good and of high quality. Fortunately, we had no problems with ergot, vetch, or rotten batches this year.

Many thanks to our hard-working grain suppliers! Good luck!

Servus TV “Heimatleuchten”

At home by the water – from Lunz to Litschau

Lower Austria doesn’t have Lake Attersee, Lake Constance or Lake Neusiedl – but it still has plenty of water. From the Thaya to Lake Lunz, the lakes and rivers of Lower Austria are home to originals, idealists and romantics who have found happiness on the water.

At the age of 19, Hannah Eisner is the youngest female master miller in Austria. She has found her profession at the Dyk Mill, which is powered by the mill’s own hydropower. Boss Lisa Dyk has been focusing on organic grain and sustainability for years. Female power in a male industry!

The legendary dragon boat race in Raabs an der Thaya combines wet fun and sporting ambition and is the biggest event of its kind in Austria. The derby for the women’s teams is: the “Barbies” from the Raabs tennis club against the “Sumsis”. For the Barbies, it’s all about defending the title and thus the honor!

And many more interesting contributions… Servus TV Stream “Heimatleuchten” on Friday, May 2nd, from 8:15 pm on Servus TV. © ServusTV / Wegafilm

Team DYK MÜHLE would like to thank Stefan Ludwig and his team for the great cooperation.

Organic & Demeter Grain Harvest Final 2024

All done again, SCHNIDAHAU!

the 2024 harvest has come in extremely early compared to previous years and our supplying organic farmers have once again worked to the full so that we can mill our popular organic quality flour from it.

According to the organic farmers, the yield per hectare is weak, especially for organic and biodynamic rye. Very rare mother grain, vetches & burnt batches.

Many THANKS for the precious harvest!
