20 Years Since the Flood

THANK YOU CELEBRATION at the Dyk Mill

Twenty years ago, on June 30, 2006, severe storms and the Thaya River overflowing its banks plunged our region—and our mill in particular—into an extraordinary crisis. Thanks to the tireless and selfless efforts of employees and friends who helped with cleanup work on site, we were able to save whatever could be saved.

As a sign of our deep gratitude and to express our thanks, we invited everyone who helped back then—two decades later—to a relaxed party at our mill. A tour of the mill and the flood protection measures was one of the highlights of the celebration.
